EZ COC

Every COC you have ever issued. Found in seconds.

EZ COC files the certificate, the site photos and the address for every Certificate of Compliance you issue, then prints one page-numbered PDF with the photographic record attached.

Three steps. One record per certificate.

Each step is a screen in the app. File it on the day, find it years later, print the pack when someone asks.

The photos stay with the certificate.

Shoot from the phone on site. Tag each photo with its section and a line of description. It is on the record before you leave the driveway.

What comes out of the printer.

One PDF. Your signed certificate leads, untouched. A divider states the COC number, customer and address. Then the photographic record, one section per page, numbered through to the end.

01The certificate is never altered.

Its pages are merged exactly as you uploaded them. The annexure is added after, never on top.

02Every page carries the COC number.

A single page pulled from the pack still says which certificate it belongs to.

03Every version is kept.

Add a photo, generate again. The earlier PDF stays on the record with its date.

The record you cannot find is the one that gets asked for.

Today the certificate is in a lever-arch file, the photos are on a phone that has since been replaced, and the address is in a WhatsApp thread. EZ COC keeps the three together, from the day of the job.

NO DOCUMENT

The signed Annexure 1 is in the office, in a file, on a shelf. The client is in another city.

NO PHOTOS

The board before and after were on the old phone. The old phone is gone.

NO ADDRESS

"The place in Gardens" is not an address a conveyancer will accept.

Questions electricians ask

What is EZ COC?

EZ COC is a web and Android app for South African electricians. It keeps the certificate, the site photos and the address for every Certificate of Compliance together, lets you find any COC by customer, address or COC number, and generates one page-numbered PDF with the photographic record attached.

Does EZ COC issue Certificates of Compliance?

No. EZ COC does not issue or register certificates and is not affiliated with the Electrical Conformance Board. You issue the COC as you do today, then upload the signed certificate as a PDF or a photo and file it with your site photos.

How much does EZ COC cost and how do I pay?

You pay by EFT for 6 or 12 months of access. After payment you receive an access code that unlocks your company. The live demo is free and needs no card.

Can I attach a test report to a COC?

Yes. Upload the completed test report with the certificate, or attach it as photos with a description. The PDF puts your signed certificate first, untouched, and adds the photographic record after it.

Does EZ COC work on a phone?

Yes. EZ COC runs in the browser on any device and there is an Android app, so you can add photos on site.
