Cookie Policy
In short: EZ COC sets no cookies of its own and uses a few items of browser storage that are strictly necessary. Google Analytics cookies are set only if you accept analytics, and you can change your mind at any time.

1. What this policy covers
This policy covers cookies and similar browser storage on ezcoc.com and in the EZ COC web app, and on-device storage in the Android app. The app sets no cookies itself. We use no advertising or marketing cookies and no tracking pixels.
2. Strictly necessary storage
These items make the service work. They do not need your consent and cannot be switched off. They are not used for tracking.

3. Your choice, stored
ez-coc-consent (localStorage) stores whether you accepted or rejected analytics, as "granted" or "denied". It is kept until you clear browser data or change your choice.
4. Analytics (only with your consent)
On ezcoc.com we can use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to see which pages are visited and on what devices, so we can improve the site. It is off by default. We use Google Consent Mode v2 with all consent signals set to denied until you choose. Google's analytics script loads on each page, but while consent is denied it sets no cookies and sends Google only basic, cookieless signals (for example that a page was viewed) that are not linked to you. If you reject, we also delete any Google Analytics cookies left from an earlier choice. If you have not seen a consent banner, analytics is not switched on.

Google Analytics receives your IP address and device and page data, and may process it in the USA. Details are in our Privacy Policy. Our legal basis is your consent.
5. Change or withdraw your choice
Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page to reopen the choice and switch between Accept and Reject at any time. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and both buttons look the same. You can also delete the stored items and Google cookies in your browser settings. If you reject or withdraw, Google Analytics cookies are not set, and any already set remain until they expire or you delete them.
